So, my oldest daughter (Goose) is 6 and had hair down to her waist. We just cut it back in May and gave it to Locks for Love. It is just barely down to her shoulders and although it was time for a change, I can say I truly miss her fabulous locks. She has such thick hair I miss being able to do all the things I used to do with it. My middle daughter (Bug) will be 4 next month and has fairly long hair but it is a bit thinner than Goose’s. Since Goose got her hair cut, I’ve started doing a lot more with Bug’s hair because she has the length. Bee is my baby – and is 18 months old. She’s got enough hair to do a few things with and I love that she has a bit of curl too. That makes it fun as well.
I decided to start this blog because over the years I have done so many things and although I’m no beautician I really enjoy doing their hair and creating new things. Although it’s probably not how other’s look at it, I’m of the opinion that people judge me by the way my girls look. So I feel like if they are “done up” it’s a good reflection on me, and of course the other way around too. Silly as that is, that’s how I feel. As I’ve started blogging I’ve been inspired by other mom’s who also do their little girl’s hair.
My little disclaimer is this: I can’t say everything I do here is original or of fantastic quality, but it’s something that brings me joy in my life and I wanted to share it with anyone who cares to take a peek! Enjoy and happy hair do’s! Feel free to stop by regularly, as I hope to update things fairly regularly – I’ve got 3 heads of hair to do, so there best be something to post! I welcome any comments or pictures of your own creations because I love learning what else can be done to make the world a prettier place!
