I’m so excited to have my super talented & beautiful friend Megan from Brassy Apple guest post for “Feature Friday.” Often I get e-mails from readers asking what they can do with short(er) hair & Megan has awesome short hair. So I asked her to share with you some of the different ways she “mixes things up.” She is a great example of how you can wear your hair so many different ways, even if you don’t have a ton of length!
I’m excited to be here today sharing a few quick ideas for short hair. Although mine are all related to WOMEN’s short hair they can easily be applied to little girls hair too!
I’m always changing mine – little snip here and there and sometimes you just need a little flip! You can always accessorize. Rosettes, fabric headbands, clips and more. Vintage roseWraps has some great selections!
Flip it! Play with layers to flip different pieces different ways for a new look.
Curl it or Triple Barrel curl it! I like to use a flat iron and roll it to create “curls”. Other days using a triple barrel curing iron for a different look!
As you can see in the photos above, “bumping” my bangs back gives me a new look too! Then I can curl the sides or leave them straight.
Want some other short hair tutorials? Whippy Cake shares several tips, hairstyles for short hair including her Moxie style and Faux hawk (so CUTE!!!). I hope I’ve help spark some new ideas for short hair!
Thanks SOO much Megan for taking time to share some of your fabulous looks with us. Be sure to check out her entire album on Facebookwhere she has a bunch of other gorgeous pictures showing how versatile short hair can be!
Hi & Welcome to Babes in Hairland.com! So glad you stopped by & we hope you'll stay a while.
I'm a stay-at-home mom with 3 beautiful daughters - Goose, Bug & Bee. And with 3 girls, what else am I going to do, but a ton of hair?! So good thing that I love to do their hair. I'm no beautician but I love to be creative and try new & fun things. Some days the Babes cooperate more than others, but since I've been doing something with their hair since birth, they are all used to it by now! Some would say I'm obsessed with hair .... I'm ok with that!
