Facebook & Some Exciting News

I had planned on posting a hairdo for you today, but I got some exciting news yesterday and then I had some other news to share, so I’m afraid the do will have to wait until tomorrow. I’ve got to say that with all the drama & pain issues that I’m having in my life, the good news that I had come yesterday was really what I needed to brighten things up for me. Guess what? I’m going to be on TV!! Can I get a big WOOT WOOT?! And can I just say I’m sort of freaking out?! If any of you read THIS post over on our giveaway blog … it has to do with that. As part of this whole Mommy Blogger stuff I’m involved with I’m going to be hanging out with several other mom’s that blog down at the local food bank Monday morning between 6-9 a.m. & a couple local TV stations (Ch. 4 & Ch 13) are going to be down there helping with the food collection. I’ll be having a little segment on both channels as well as getting to participate in fun giveaways (read more HERE for info on that) and some fun contests with the mom bloggers & some of the local policemen. I’m sooo stoked!

As part of the contests we are going to have timed contests to wrap some of the food collected and we have to wrap it creatively. Any “hair related” ideas of how I can wrap the food that you might have to share would be greatly appreciated!
