Today’s post serves two purposes. Assuming you follow things here in Hairland you know that July was a rough month for us. So, first I’d like to introduce our new “babe” here in Hairland that I’m temporarily taking care of, and secondly I need to pick your brains for some hair advice.
I’d like you to meet Miss K. She’s just a few months older than Bee and so I really feel like I’ve got 3 year old twins right now. Sheer craziness I tell you! She’s so sweet and has got the most beautiful big blue eyes…
and completely amazing curly hair like her mom had…
We’ve been having a lot of fun and it’s been nice to spend some quality time with her as we play and try new things in her beautiful curly hair.
My question today is for those of you that have curly hair or have kids with curly hair. I’m just wondering … what kinds of product do you use for curly hair? I still love love love Garnier Fructis Curl Sculpting Cream Gel and it works great in her hair to enhance her curls. But her dad says it takes him a long time to comb out her hair in the morning on the days he gets to do her hair. It’s full of knots & he has a rough time.
So what kinds of products do you use to detangle? What about to enhance your curls? Do you use special shampoos, etc?
Being that the whole curl thing might mean a lot of you can’t offer advice & “enter” for the weekly give away by commenting, I’m going to forgo the gift card or cash this week if that’s ok.
Also just an FYI, I might be starting a new “beginner hair series” to help her daddy out in the hair department once I’m not watching her anymore. So for you “hair veterans” you probably won’t care about that, but I know for many out there, especially Miss K’s dad – the basics might be a good thing!
