If you watched my video on how to do a 4 strand braid with ribbon on it (go HERE if you haven’t) this is just the final result that you get if you do your basic pony tail & then add the ribbon into the 4 stranded braid and don’t pull it up like I did in THIS post.
Be sure to have enough ribbon that you can wrap it around the base of the ponytail to cover the rubber band, then enough to go down the entire length of the ponytail and then tie the bottom off nicely with a little bow — all from the same piece of ribbon. My ribbon was about 2 1/2 times the length of her pony. Always better to have too much than to run out mid-way through!
I love the way the ribbon goes down the middle of it and is visible from both the front & the back. Make sure to keep your ribbon straight and don’t let it twist as you do this so it is uniform on the front & back.
Also – just a reminder — if you haven’t entered for a chance to win Disney on Ice tickets … today is the last day to enter for the first 4 pack. I can’t remember if I put a closing date on the giveaway – but it is today 10/8/10. The winner will be announced tomorrow. Head over HERE for your chance to win.
