This month, I not only celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary, we also celebrated the 1st anniversary of the release of our beautiful book, Amazing Hairstyles: From Easy to Elegant. Both anniversaries actually happened while we were in Puerto Rico, but I thought I’d wait to celebrate our book until I got back and had a bit more reliable internet.
So of course, to celebrate we thought we’d give away another one of our books and some of our wide-tooth combs. We hope most of you have one by now (if not – you can buy our book HERE) … but just in case! Or if you do, what better thing to win & give away as a gift (since Christmas is just around the corner!)
But before we get to the giveaway though, I just wanted to remind everyone that we’ll be presenting at Pinners Conference again this year. We’ve presented the last couple years at Pinners Conference & have been so much fun – I mean what’s better than a hair class & lots of free swag?! 😉 Pinners is November 6 & 7th in Salt Lake City.
If you’re not familiar with Pinner’s – it’s like Pinterest come to life! There aren’t just hair classes, there are also classes on home improvement, money management, cooking/baking, beauty, photography and more. There’s also vendors to buy all kinds of fabulous stuff from, not to mention all the FREE SWAG that you get throughout the conference!
And we’d hope if you come to the conference, you’ll use our code babesinhairland. You’ll save 10% off your ticket. You can attend just a few classes, classes on one day, or two full days of classes – it’s your choice. And of course, don’t forget the VIP night on Thursday night. Go HERE to snag your tickets today!
There are so many amazing classes to attend, and we hope to see you at our class on Saturday 11/7 at 11 a.m. We’ll also have some of our books & combs on hand as well if you’d like to purchase some.
Ok — so now that you’ve hopefully snagged your tickets to Pinners, on to our giveaway!
We’re giving away:
1 of our books – Amazing Hairstyles: from Easy to Elegant
and 2 of our BabesInHairland wide-tooth combs
Enter using the widget below for your chance to win. I’ll announce the winner in our post next Tuesday. Thanks for entering & good luck! Giveaway closes Monday night November 2nd and 11:59 MST

For Halloween I’m torn between dressing up as Lady Gaga (using the bow hairstyle of course!) Or as a zombie mom….which wouldn’t require me to dress up at all! Lol.

I probably won’t be dressing up being as how I have a 3 week old baby and I just don’t want to this year but some of my kids costumes will be 3 little kittens (who have found their mittens), a clown, Wednesday Adams, and a wind-up doll. As for my favorite holiday I’d say Christmas.

Well…I want to dress up, but we never have the time, plus I can almost never find a costume online that looks exactly like the one I had in mind. Well, this year, I’ve had the ideas of sorcerer (or sorceress), Mad Hatter, Genie, and medieval or renaissance Princess. My favorite holiday (if I got to dress up…) is probably Halloween, though. Otherwise, Christmas is pretty awesome (even though I’m not religious), and so is April Fool’s day.
(P.S. thanks for all the great hairstyles!)

My 3 year old wanted to be a cookie. So we made her a cookie outfit, and now she’s bound and determined to wear her ratty Tinkerbell dress-up dress. The little one is a ladybug.
