Let's just pretend it's a week ago and this just happened! 😉😉 For Halloween McKayla and her friends decided to be the characters from the movie "Inside Out" and she was Joy. She's been so busy and hardly home, so the night before we scrambled and in 5 hours we made her entire costume, dress and hair. Her dress was out of 3 t-shirts (thanks @beccabeachofficial for your fab tutorial btw) and we managed to find a blue wig but it required a bit of a haircut! 💇 yikes! It all came together fabulously in the end, right down to her blue eyebrows! I'm pretty sure "joy" is a synonym for McKayla, so it was a perfect fit!

It's General Conference weekend for The Church of

It's General Conference weekend for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.... One of my favorite weekends where we are able to listen to our living prophet and other wonderful church leaders give inspired messages about the gospel of Jesus Christ. McKayla and other girls and young women from our area have been invited to sing in the choir for the general women's session tonight. I invite you to watch any or all of the sessions on churchofjesuschrist.org... And maybe keep your eyes out for McKayla tonight in the choir at 6pm MST. She'll be on the top back row of the very far right section!
