Last month I was contacted by The Herald Journal, a newspaper out of Logan, Utah to contribute to an article they were writing about mom’s that do their daughter’s hair. They interviewed me and 2 other mom’s who happen to be cosmetologists, to get our input on how we manage to have the time and why we do it.
I’ve said it from day one, and I’ll say it again – it’s not so much the hairstyle that is created … it’s the time spent with my girls, and the bond that is created while I do their hair. I just love the one on one time I get with each of them every time I do their hair. They are growing up so fast, and I’m thankful for that time each morning.
The article was in the paper, as well as their website. The other mom’s give their insight too of what works best for them and how much time they spend each day doing their daughter’s hair. It’s a great little article. The picture at the top of the article is of one of the cosmologist mom’s, Keesha Holbrook, doing her daughter’s hair in her bathroom. A very typical scene at our house too!
Anyway, just thought we’d share it with you – so if you’re interested in reading the entire article, it can be found over on the Herald Journal’s webpage.
