We were so excited to be invited back for the 2nd annual Pinners Conference that happened here in Utah last weekend. It seriously was fabulous. If you’re new to our blog after visiting our class on Saturday – Welcome! Be sure to check out our Hairstyle Gallery where you’ll find hundreds of hairstyles ranging from hairstyles for babies, toddlers, braided styles, updos, and more. We’ve got a whole lot of video tutorials, as well as step-by-step picture tutorials too. So we hope you’ll have a look around and come back to visit often! And of course, if you don’t already — click here to follow us on Pinterest!
It started with a fun V.I.Pinner Night on Thursday where we got to hang out with other bloggers and other fabulous people that love Pinterest as much as we do. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend on Friday because my girls were out of school and I had other things going on getting ready for our class on Saturday.
We had a little table set up where people could buy our new book as well as our Babes in Hairland wide-tooth combs. We’ll be sharing more about those in a later post!
We were in one of the larger classrooms that thankfully this year had a camera man and so what we did in the girls hair was projected up onto a big screen for the whole class to see. I’m not sure how well they could see things with lights on, but it was definitely better than nothing! We had a great turn out and had a wide range of ages from little girls to moms. It was great!
This year we shared how to do create different types of braids and different buns. It’s always a little tricky teaching a big class because everyone varies on what they already know how to do! And down in the audience, girls were trying things on their neighbors!
We gave away a bunch of swag, including a few of our books and a couple Curlformers styling kits and hoods. It was great to see girls of all ages doing hair as we taught the class and learning as we taught! I just love helping others learn how to do hair! Thanks so much to everyone that came to our class!
