3 Rope Braided Loops

3 Rope Braid Loops (1)I thought I’d done this one before but after going through my files I guess I hadn’t – so sorry that I don’t have the step by step pix on this. But either way, it should be self explanatory & not too hard to figure out.

* Part the hair from ear to ear to make a 1/2 pony. Secure it with a rubber band.

* Pull 3 small sections from the pony tail & make a rope/twist braid out of each of the sections. (Don’t use the whole ponytail for the rope/twist braids – there should still be most of the ponytail hanging down w/the rest of the hair.) Tie each of them off with a rubber band – but don’t twist clear to the very end. (If you need help on how to do a rope/twist braid- watch my video HERE)

* Then pull each individual rope/twist braid up above the rubber band so they each form a loop. Secure the ends with bobby pins above the rubber band from your ponytail. If you have issues w/bobby pins holding hair, for this one it helps if the rubber band from the rope/twist braid is above the bobby pin because it can’t slip back down through it.

* Curl the ends of the rope/twist braid sections and piece them out a little bit then add an accessory to cover the rubber bands & bobby pins.3 Rope Braid Loops (2)

3 Rope Braid Loops (3)Add a cheezy grin & that’s it! You can rush out the door to school AND be on time! :) 3 Rope Braid Loops (4)

I’ve got a fancier version of this do coming up – so stay tuned!
