I can’t believe March is almost half over. This year is flying! We’re back today with a totally cute and easy St. Patrick’s Day hairstyle. If you’ve been around our blog long enough you know I’ve never been huge on St. Patrick’s Day, and I realized I’d never even posted a tutorial for the holiday! Gasp! But today is your lucky day! 🙂 I’d shared a roundup of some DIY St. Patrick’s Day Accessories in the past, and another clover hairstyle from Bonita Hairdo, but never personally shared a tutorial. So if you are looking for a new fun lucky clover hairstyle for St. Patrick’s day, then you’re in luck! Best of all, this hairstyle is something you can do in 5 minutes or less!
For this hairstyle you will need a couple clear elastics, a Topsy Tail and green ribbon (optional.) Still need a Topsy Tail? Go HERE to buy yours today!
Below is our quick video, and then step-by-step instructions and pictures of the finished hairstyle.

1 – Part the hair from ear to ear.
2 – Secure all that hair with a clear elastic to create a half ponytail.
3 – Divide the ponytail into 3 sections. Make the middle section just a little thicker than the 2 side sections.
If you want to create a 4 leaf clover, then divide the ponytail into 4 sections. I found the 3 sections worked easier for me and looked a bit cuter in the end.
4 – Take the pointed end of the Topsy Tail and stick it behind the elastic of the ponytail. Then take the middle section of the ponytail and draw it through the looped end of the Topsy Tail.
5 – Pull the hair through with the Topsy Tail, but don’t pull the hair completely through. You want to leave the hair as a loop.
6 – Move to the right section of the ponytail. Take the topsy tail and put the pointed end in behind the right side of the elastic and coming out the left side. Bring the right section of hair through the looped end of the topsy tail and pull the hair through.
7 – Again, don’t pull the hair completely through, you want it to create another loop, but this time on the right side.
8 – Repeat the above steps with the remaining left section of the ponytail.
9- Go back and adjust the loops so they are uniform in size, but make the center one just a bit larger. Gently pull on the right and left sides of the center loop to give it a little bit of a heart shape. This adds to the clover look!
10 – Gather the tails of the loops together in the center below the clover. Secure with another clear elastic & cinch it up so it is hidden.
11 – Optional – Add a green ribbon or other fun green accessory

What should I do to make my hair grow faster?
All of these hair styles are so nice!

So glad you like our hairstyles! Sadly, I don’t have any magic answer for you to grow your hair faster. There are lots of things out there people swear by to get their hair to grow quicker but we’ve never tried any. I have heard good things about Biotin but have never tried it. For us, genetics plays a big part!
