Lace Braid into a 4 Strand Braid

I think I’ve been on a 4 strand braid kick lately! Today’s style is one I’ve done for school on the girls, as well as for church. So it’s one that can be worn most anywhere. We’ve done this style ending it in a round or 3D 4 strand braid as well as a flat 4 strand braid. In our video tutorial we show you how we do it with a flat 4 strand braid.

Step 1 – Make a side part

Step 2 – Begin a lace braid along the forehead

Step 3 – Plait a lace braid, only adding hair to the top or right side of the braid

Step 4 – Continue adding hair to lace braid until you reach the back of the head

Step 5 – Stop adding hair and make a regular 3 strand braid to the end of the hair

Step 6 – Temporarily secure the end of the braid

Step 7 – Gather remaining hair that is down in back at the nape of the neck

Step 8 – Divide hair into 3 sections

Step 9 – Place braid from lace braid in the 2nd position of the straight hair

Step 10 – Plait a 4 strand braid

With this step you can create a flat 4 strand braid, or a round 3D braid. We have done both, but the video shows the flat braid. Step 11 – Secure the end with an elastic
