We’ve tried using this a few different ways & it’s a pretty cool tool. In a way, it’s kind of like a huge bobby pin!
It took us several tries to get the hang of it – but I think it’s because Goose has such thick hair. We kind of use it a little differently than they instruct by inserting it at a different angle due to her thicker hair. You’ll have to experiment with this and do what works best for you. Just know that when you “flip” the pin over to shove it through the hair, it tightens things up quite a bit. So if you already have your hair twisted rather tightly, it might be too tight for you. So try it first a big looser since the Modern Updo Maker tightens things up a bit and cinches it tight for you! We are just loving these fun new “hair tools” & if they work for my kiddos they’ll work great on you mom’s!
