This is probably nothing new or anything that you haven’t seen before, but I just wanted to show you that it can be done with a baby’s hair despite how short it it is. I took this silly picture just before I got started so you can see I really don’t have a ton of hair to work with on her still. But I’ve been pulling her hair up into a little “spout” (which I’ll post another time) for a long time now.
It’s self explanatory really.
Step 1 – Section out a small bit of hair in the front and tie it off with a rubber band.
I like to put mine off to the side a bit instead of smack down the middle.
Step 2 & 3 – Start a second section, adding the first ponytail, and again the same thing into the third.
I probably could have done 4 but I know I only have so much time with Bee sitting still! Then once it’s all tied off I fluff up her curls and put a few clips in to add some color. There you have it.
Here’s another shot from on top once it was finished. I tried to get her to look at the camera and cheese it up, but no luck today!
