Good Monday morning to everyone! Hope you guys had a great weekend. My weekend was FABULOUS — know why? We found us another car. We’ve been doing the 1 car thing for over 2 years now *gasp* – just for the heck of it *yes, another gasp* and we finally decided the girls were squished in the back of our Camry. So we finally found a Toyota Sequoia that we loved & bought it. So I’m soooo excited & glad to have that off my “things to do list”
Onto today’s little ‘tut. More “basics” here today on the zig-zag part. Sure most of ya’ll do these, but thought I’d share my way. Most everyone I think just does it with a normal comb parting the zig zag one little section out at a time. I do it a bit different with my rat tail comb end. So here you go if you’re interested. I didn’t smooth things down completely away from the zig zag so well in the video, but obviously if you’re going to do anything else with the hair you would! And of course — don’t push too hard with the end of your comb or you’ll hurt that cute little head!
This is a little different than the bigger zig zags you might normally do. This is what I do in my hair – a closer together narrower zig zag & it kind of gives my part a bit of “oomph” that you don’t get from just a normal ol’ straight part. I don’t do it so wide from right to left when using the tail of my comb, but they are quite close together front to back. Don’t know if that makes sense or not! Anyway, this is one you can do on yourself or your DD. I don’t know if you can see the difference between the 2 videos, but hopefully you can! Anyway, this is just how I do things & since this blog is about how I do hair stuff — here you go! 🙂 Have a great day!

Wow!!! that looks so easy, you do not know how many times I have tried to do a zig zag part on my dd or my own hair, to no avail, I am going to try this, and I think I can do it now.. thanks!!
