Oh my goodness!  I can’t believe Christmas is less than a week away!  Since we won’t get another post in before Christmas, we thought we’d share a quick easy Christmas bubble ponytail hairstyle, as well as our 2017 Christmas card.  We’re sharing the tutorial along with a bunch of other pictures we had taken of the girls, so be sure to keep scrolling and watch our video!  If you are looking for our other cute Christmas hairstyles, go HERE to see them all.  We’ve got several different Christmas tree braid hairstyles, along with some other fun ones!

You will need a ponytail holder, colored elastics, clear elastics, and some Christmas buttons for this hairstyle.

Before starting the Christmas bubble ponytail, take clear elastics, and thread them through the button’s loop or hole on the back of the button.  Pass one end of an elastic, through the loop or hole of the button.  Then pass the other end of the elastic through the elastic so it can be cinched down around the loop of the button.  This will make it easy to add the button to the hairstyle as you go.

1- Create a ponytail with all your hair. Secure it with a ponytail holder.

2- Wrap the base of the ponytail with hair to cover the elastic.

3- A couple inches below the base of the ponytail, wrap a colored elastic around the ponytail.

4- Gently pinch and pull on the hair between the 2 elastics to make a “bubble” with the hair.  You can make these as big or as little as you like.

5- Next wrap one of the clear elastics with a Christmas button attached  around the colored elastic.

6- A few more inches below the first colored elastic, add another colored elastic.

7- Pinch and pull on this section of hair to make another bubble in your ponytail.

8- Add another Christmas button elastic around the colored elastic.

9- Repeat the above steps all the way down the ponytail.  You can make as few or as many bubble sections as you want.  Just add a Christmas button accessory to each section to add a pop of color.

Other ideas to make your bubble ponytail more Christmasy:

• Add some miniature Christmas bows in between each section
• Tie red, green, and/or white curling ribbon around each section and then curl the ends
• Buy other miniature Christmas ornaments and add them in between each section
