We're back today with another cute hairstyle that is perfect for school or sports. Ever since we figured out how to do a 3 Strand Twist, Bee has wanted one in her hair. Since I'm not one to do the same hairstyle over and over, we've been having fun doing different versions of the 3 strand twist in her hair, adding different elements along with it. I love this hairstyle because it combines 3 different types of twists and looks great from all angles! But first, if you missed our post last ... continue reading...

An Interview with the Oldest Daughter of Babes in Hairland
Just over a month ago, my oldest daughter created a new tutorial for you that she did on herself (Easy 4 Twist Pullback Hairstyle). In her video she asked for questions from you, our readers. She wanted to do a video - sort of a "get to know her video" or an interview of sorts. Well, today's the day to you can get to know a bit about her through a little interview or Q&A session. She's joined by her younger sister (aka Bug) who asks the questions that you, our readers, asked ... continue reading...
Skull & Crossbones Pirate Hair | Halloween Hairstyle
Ahoy Matey's!! This year Bee decided she wanted to be a pirate for Halloween. I’m not going to complain, because we already had a costume in our bin of costumes, but I thought it’d be fun to add something to her costume, rather than just what came in the package. I was browsing at Michael’s craft store one day and came across a “Bag of Bones” and that's when the light bulb turned on! When I think pirates, I think skull & cross bones. I tried to find something similar on Amazon to link ... continue reading...
Witch Hand Halloween Bun
So I've been scratching my head (pun intended! ;-) ) on how to exactly use these witch fingers ever since I bought them for one of the girl's witch costumes several years ago. Halloween has always snuck up too quickly for me to remember to use them, until this year! There's nothing overly complicated about this style, but you will need some ugly green witch fingers. The ones I used, I bought years ago, likely at a Halloween store, but honestly I can't remember. However, they aren't as cool ... continue reading...
Triple Twists and Bun
If you've followed us for a while, this one might look a little familiar. I did this style as a step-by-step picture tutorial on my oldest over 3 years ago but her bun was different. I've used this style on school mornings and for church over the years, so I love that it's versatile that way. You could use it for sports or dance as well, it's just that cute! So I hope you don't mind that I've made a video of this style as well. Sometimes I feel bad that styles get lost in the archives, and ... continue reading...
A Look Back at 2015
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and were able to spend time with family and friends and just enjoy being together. I know we did! We took a break from our computer and unplugged for almost a week and it was great. I hope you are able to do the same sometimes, it's truly good for the soul! As has become another tradition, we love taking a look back on the year at all the wonderful hair styles we created & shared with you, and then put them together in a short video at the end of ... continue reading...
