I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and that you're enjoying this holiday season. I know we did - but now I'm trapped in the bathroom again with my not-so-little Bee at a 2nd attempt at potty training. Yes, the first attempt several months back turned out to be a bomb, so we're at it again. What a great way to spend my week when the girls are off school eh? Not! Anyway, things are going a bit smoother this time it seems, but that means my time here again on the computer is limited. As I ... continue reading...

Thanksgiving Turkey Bun Hairstyle
Ok, so I couldn't resist. Bug has got a fun "Thanksgiving Feast" tomorrow at school and as I happened to look at our coat closet door that is covered in Thanksgiving turkeys and crafts the girls have made in school, I suggested to Bug how "fun" it might be to have some turkey feathers in her hair for her little Thanksgiving feast at school. She got all excited thinking I had some real feathers (which you could use btw - but I just don't have on hand.) Last year I'd come up w/our basic bun w/a ... continue reading...
Cascading Pinned Up Curls
For starters, I've just got to say THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH to all the gals from SITS that stopped by to share the SITS love for my special day yesterday. And for all of you who joined the "Hair Obsessed Club" - Welcome! I had such a great day yesterday, and now I've got a ton of blogs to visit & e-mails to reply to, so I've got my work cut out for me! So - on to the hair do for the day. The ironic part of this hairdo, is that we put our ever so FABULOUS Curlformers in on a Saturday night so ... continue reading...
Combo Toddler Hairstyle
I didn't know what to call this, because there are like 4 different types of "things" in this do - so to keep the title short, we'll call it a combo do! So for today's hairdo .... Start by separating the hair on the top of the head out and secure out of the way w/a clip. (Basically part the area straight back from each temple and then around the back of the top of the head.) Starting on the right side, section off hair by the right ear. Secure with a rubber band to make a ponytail. Part ... continue reading...
Loopy Looking Bun
I totally wanted to get my latest hair do with Curlformers posted that I gave you a sneak peek of in my last post, but because there are a ton of pictures I didn't have time to upload those all right now. So you'll have to settle for a quick & easy one. Maybe it's just me, but I when I did this I thought that it looked like more than just a normal bun. So I thought I'd share. It's quick & easy, and I think quite pretty. I made an offset zig-zag part on the right side. (as always!) You ... continue reading...
“E Z Combs” Review and Curls
I don't know how many of you are familiar with this hair accessory called EZ Comb, but I'd seen the silly infomercial as well as in ads at local stores. Months back I broke down and bought a package to try them out. They were $9.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond and I used my 20% off coupon so I didn't feel too bad about my purchase price! They come in packs of 2 and so I got a black one and a tan beaded one in my package. They looked pretty & thought they might be a fun new thing to put in the ... continue reading...
