This hairdo comes as a request from a reader - Jennifer H., who's little girl is to be a flower girl this week at a wedding. She requested the hair be mostly down, and since she has a harder time w/french braiding and such asked for it to be without any of those - and since her dd's hair is a beautiful red, she wanted it to stand out against the ivory dress she'll be wearing. I hope this works for you. I always worry about doing "requests" - so I'm sorry if you don't like this! I was working ... continue reading...

Quick & Easy Hippy/Bohemian Hairstyle
This post is in honor of a dear friend of mine that recently took to calling me a Hippy - although I am far from one! :-) It's a dumb story and not one you're really care about, but because of her calling me hippy a lot, we did this 'do on Goose the other day. It's quick & easy & a great one for a rushed school morning. Goose has been wanting her hair down a bit lately - despite the heat, and it still drives me nuts when it's totally down & in her face, so this was a great ... continue reading...
Shared Hair Do
I'm not so sure what to call this one, especially since it's not my own idea. This came from one of my readers - Christine. She sent this to me back after Thanksgiving when I'd done this hairdo. She said her DD's hair wasn't quite long enough to do anything like the bun, so she was inspired to come up with this instead. And - was kind enough to share it and is letting me share it with you guys. So if anyone has a name we can give this one - please send it my way! So - here is the hairdo ... continue reading...
Basic Bun with a Little Turkey Tail

Leave a couple inches for the "tail." Wrap it around as you would a normal bun, but do it tight (or loose if you're working with a lot of hair) enough ... continue reading...
