If you followed us last school year, you know we did a whole ABC hairstyle series. I’ve had a little fun with them lately & thought we’d share!
But first … today is Bee’s first day of Kindergarten. I honestly think I’m still in shock! My “baby” is growing up. It’s hard to believe when we started our blog over 4 years ago she looked like this:
And now she looks like this:
Anyway, sorry about the trip down memory lane but I couldn’t resist! So in honor of Bee’s first day of Kindergarten we thought we’d put together a fun video/slide show (below our ABC hair picture) to share the entire alphabet in hair that we did last school year. Thanks to Bee and Bug for lending their voices to go along with this fun video!
You can find all of the tutorials for our ABC Hairstyles HERE.
They are all there — from A to Z!
It might be a little tricky to read, but was kind of fun to put together our whole blog name with Bee’s hair!
And since today is Bee’s first day of Kindergarten, I thought I’d share a few of her first day of school pictures! And I’m not going to lie … I totally cried as she walked through the doors into the school. I didn’t think I would, but seeing my “baby” start school really got to me! Oh well! 🙂 And in case you’re wondering, we did sock curls (not sock buns) last night to get her hair nice and curly. Can’t tell she’s excited can you?!

My B started Kindergarten this year as well. She is my only child and is also very independent. I did not shed a tear for nearly the first full week…then came last Friday. I dropped her off in the car pool lane and watched her as she greeted all of the staff that was outside with a smile and a skip. She looked so grown up… I cried the whole way home!!!

What a great idea! I love ‘Babes in Hairland’ spelled out in hair, too!

Hey Pretty Mama! (Confession: I fought the urge to say, “Hey Hairy Mama!” HA HA HA!!! Oh…wait…I still wrote it anyway!) You daughters are so beautiful! I have loved spending time looking through your blog. I have to say you are AMAZING! And so talented. Gosh, I want you to come over and help me with MY daughters hair. I have NO idea how to do it, and she hates having it done too. UGH!!!! It is a lose-lose, I’m afraid. Anyway, thank you so much for popping by my blog, for commenting, and for showing your support. You are absolutely lovely! (And P.S. Your testimony in Mariel’s packet was beautiful too.) Have a happy week, my new friend!

AND…I’m liking you on Facebook! And your blog is darling.

Do you have a favorite brush? half of my time to do the hair is brushing and I really don’t like all the pulling
Becky says
We honestly don’t really use brushes. Not that I’m against them, we just find wide tooth combs work best to work all the knots and tangles out. We use them in the shower as well to comb the conditioner through the hair. This helps a lot.
