We shared something similar to this at Pinners Conference this last weekend (read more about our Pinners class here), but this one is just a little bit more involved. That doesn't mean it's harder, it just means we added some extra flair to the style! There are countless ways to create buns using just braids, but this one is a little more than just braids! Watch our video to see what we do! Keep in mind, the more you pancake your braids, the messier and more carefree this style can ... continue reading...

Easy Vintage Updo
Back at the beginning of summer, Jen from All Things Ribbon challenged us to come up with a style for one of her pretty new headbands. We did a fun little thing on our Facebook page, and had you guys pick which one we got make a style for. These were the 4 to choose from: And while they were all so pretty, the one that ended out having the most votes, was actually my favorite too! All summer I've been trying to come up with the "perfect" style to use it in, and because it's a headband I ... continue reading...

Easy Twisted Pullback Hairstyle

For the longest time I didn't know how to do a rope braid and this was one of my ways to twist the hair back for a cute and easy style. I also twisted the hair like I show it this simple twisted hairstyle. I still do this style a lot though, especially when I've used Curlformers and want to make the most of the curls. This is a great style when you're in a hurry to get out the door ... continue reading...

Perfect timing, since Bee finishes up pre-school this week. We'll have the letter Z here for you shortly, but first the letter Y. Once again, this isn't one that's hard to figure out, but here's how we did it. Step 1 - Part the hair Part right down the middle of the head & then from ear to ear. Basically making part that looks like a ... continue reading...
Twisted Knot Hairstyle | Teen Hairstyles
This twisted knot hairstyle is one that really can work for any age, as long as you've got enough hair to pull back & make the knot, but it's definitely great for your tween or teen! Step 1 - Part hair Make an off-center part on the top of the head and then part from ear to ear. Step 2 - Twist the hair Starting on the left side, take the hair in front of the ear & twist it inward toward the head. Step 3 - Secure twist temporarily Because this isn't a rope braid, the hair ... continue reading...
