Recently, Brittany from Food for Thought e-mailed me looking for something to do w/her hair with it half up with a "bump" at the crown. I had this one floating around in my inbox, and I'm not sure if it's what she's looking for, but this came to mind as soon as I read her e-mail. Figured I'd share it w/the rest of you too! Anyway, if you know how to do my version of the messy bun (or if you don't go watch my video HERE) that's all you need to know for this hairdo. Because Goose has so much ... continue reading...

Pull Through’s & Left Over Curls
Sorry it's been a bit longer than I thought it'd be getting back here. This whole vein stuff turned out to be a bit more painful than anticipated and so I've spent much more time w/my foot up and just takin' it easy that I'd anticipated. But we're back in school now, and life goes on as we know it - so the days of taking it easy are over! :) A couple weeks ago, we'd used the Curlformers in Goose's hair for Sunday, and when she woke up Monday morning, she still had quite a bit of pretty ... continue reading...
Quick & Easy Hippy/Bohemian Hairstyle
This post is in honor of a dear friend of mine that recently took to calling me a Hippy - although I am far from one! :-) It's a dumb story and not one you're really care about, but because of her calling me hippy a lot, we did this 'do on Goose the other day. It's quick & easy & a great one for a rushed school morning. Goose has been wanting her hair down a bit lately - despite the heat, and it still drives me nuts when it's totally down & in her face, so this was a great ... continue reading...
Uneven Braid & Rope/Twist Braids
I've had family in town and so I haven't been able to do much blogging - so I'm sorry! Summer always proves to be busy too I guess! I've got several new do's but haven't uploaded them, so this is one I did randomly towards the end of school because it was quick and easy. We were on our way out the door (as you probably can tell from the pix) so hopefully you get what I did despite not having step-by-step pictures. Part the hair from ear to ear like you're going to make a 1/2 pony. Then divide ... continue reading...
3 Rope Braided Loops
I thought I'd done this one before but after going through my files I guess I hadn't - so sorry that I don't have the step by step pix on this. But either way, it should be self explanatory & not too hard to figure out. * Part the hair from ear to ear to make a 1/2 pony. Secure it with a rubber band. * Pull 3 small sections from the pony tail & make a rope/twist braid out of each of the sections. (Don't use the whole ponytail for the rope/twist braids - there should still be most ... continue reading...
Bad Haircut’s Anyone?
I had initially planned on posting my whole hair fiasco post for April Fool's Day -- to let ya'll get a good laugh in for the day, but I ended out posting it earlier due to other "issues!" But just in case you forgot what happened to me - this was the problem at a glance: I realized I forgot to tell a story in that post about another "neat" hair issue I had growing up. Before my mom had cut my hair boy short - when I was 6 or 7 years old I had long hair like Goose used to have. It was ... continue reading...
