I hope everyone had an amazing 4th of July weekend. (If you live state-side I guess!) I know we had a blast & I'm sad that it's over. Time is just going by so quickly. So here we are again at another monthly hair share - so I hope you enjoy these. We've got some fun ones this month & it's been fun having them arrive in my in box to look at & now I get to share them with you! These first 3 pictures are from one of my new readers, Vera. She's was so excited to find the hair blogs - ... continue reading...

Double W Hairstyle
I'm sorry it's been a while since I last posted. The holiday weekend totally threw me off & there's been a lot going on here at home that's prevented me from being on the computer much. Plus, with summer coming & after next week the kids will be out of school - as most of you can probably relate, life just gets crazier once kids are around 24/7. Anyway, this is nothing tough, and heck, maybe it's been done before elsewhere - but Bee has been learning her alphabet lately & loves ... continue reading...
Lost a Bow?
So, this hair style isn't necessarily one to write home about - it was more one of necessity -- for a couple reasons. I'm hoping I'm not the only one out there that either - A - Has a favorite bow or flower - but only has ONE; B - Had a set of bows or flowers, and now 1 is lost or gone who knows where- in the mounds of Barbies, dress-up and toy boxes (please say I'm not alone in this!); So the above reasons are one reason for this hair style. The 2nd reason is due to the length of Bee's hair. ... continue reading...
Feathered Ponies and 5 Strand Braid
Today's fun style is one that is great when you want your hair mostly down, but pulled back out of your face. It's a spin off of our "Bang Pull Back - Puffy Braids on the Side" that I posted years ago. This cute ponytail and braid hairstyle will work on a toddler just as well as it worked on my 10 year old! If you struggle with 5 strand braids, having the hair secured first in ponytails helps a lot. We know you will love today's tutorial for Feathered Ponies and 5 Strand Braid ... continue reading...
Worldwide Indexing Event 2016
I know this isn't a typical post, but it's something really cool so I wanted to share. Have you ever heard of Indexing? I'm not talking about an index in a book you're reading, but the kind of indexing I'm talking about has to do with family history - knowing about your family - about your ancestors. Indexing isn't hard, and anyone can do it. My girl's even do it. It's fun, and it's a great way to serve. Indexing is essential for making records available and searchable for many people ... continue reading...
Woven Braids & Twists
I'm just loving today's tutorial. Probably because it was a style that lasted for 2 days! Nothing better than being able to get a second day out of a hairstyle! This one is great for summer, sports, school, or any time really. If you're working with hair that is long enough to cross across the back of your head, this style will work. It's great for toddlers clear up to school age girls like Bee who's 8. This style was inspired by Shelley @prettylittlebraids on Instagram and we changed it ... continue reading...
