I was planning on sharing my extremely exciting news with you guys AND a new tutorial, but technology and I aren’t getting along well these days. I got a new camera and it doesn’t want to “talk” to my computer the way I think it should. I can’t get the videos to play or convert to the correct file type, and I’ve been close to chucking my computer out the window!
So rather than causing myself any more stress at the moment, I hope you’ll forgive me for JUST sharing my exciting news. I’ve been keeping things under wraps for a couple months now, but I’m finally ready to spill the beans.
But first …. To put all myths aside — no, I am not pregnant. In fact, that is not even possible any more! And no … no one has cut their hair!
My exciting news is this:
What does that mean, you ask?
It means I’m writing a book. 🙂 Squeeeeeeeaaaaal!! 🙂 It means a dream since I started this blog– is coming true. I am not writing an e-book, and I’m not just compiling a bunch of tutorials from my blog onto paper. I was contacted by a publisher at the end of last year and am putting together a whole bunch of new tutorials and it is due out later this year. You’ve got to know that I’m not the huge “dreamer” type – so to have this happen is seriously still almost a dream!
I’ve been working with my amazingly talented friend Katie, who was actually my first mission companion when I served a mission for my church in Germany years ago. She’s behind the lens while I’m in front whipping out new tutorials.
So, if I seem a bit removed from things, or you wonder what’s going on in my life — that’s the story! (No pun intended 😉 ) So thank you for your patience over the next while as I’m not only posting tutorials here, but coming up with new content for the book. I plan on having guest posts as well, to help alleviate some of the stress during the next while — so thanks for your understanding!
I hope you’ll forgive me for not having a new tutorial to share with you today and you’ll join me in doing the happy dance! I’ve just got to figure out all this technical stuff to get the videos to convert & we’ll be good to go! Wish me luck!
