As I mentioned yesterday, her Curlformer curls last more than one day. This seems to be the case for us no matter which one of the girls uses them. The next day they obviously are more relaxed, but we obviously wanted to take advantage of the curl. I had a few people ask what we use to make the curl last more than a day. I wish I had a magic answer for you! We really don't do anything special. It may just be their hair type. We, of course, put product in their hair when we put the Curlformers ... continue reading...

Curlformers in Short Hair
After my last post & seeing Bug with her long hair & curls, it made me itch to put her hair in Curlformers to see what the result would be. Now that we've discovered she has a bit of natural curl in her hair, I was worried that the curls would turn out a bit funky or they might have a mind of their own. So Saturday night we put them in so she'd hopefully have a pretty head of curls for church on Sunday. To be quite honest I was a bit nervous! Silly, but I was. I used our 16 long & ... continue reading...
Our Try at Tween Braids
If you remember, back at the beginning of December, my sister-in-law shared a fabulous style with us that I dubbed "Tween Braids." If you missed it - go HERE for the tutorial on it. So yes, I know Bee isn't a tween, and I've actually done this do on the other girls, but always forgotten to take pictures - but I loved this one especially on Bee when I did it just half way down and joined them in back. It just looked so sweet on her! So of course, I had to share! We got her all "guzzied" up for ... continue reading...
Rows of Twists into a Half Pony
Just a quick post to show you what I did on Goose's hair the other day for school. Lately I've been loving little tight little twists up front in the girls hair, but since Goose has so much hair and on most school mornings I don't have time to do them clear across the crown of her head - I opted to do this instead. I've done twists or cornrows in THIS ancient post, and for a video on how I insert the bobby pin (aiming it towards myself and then shoving it away from myself as I push it down the ... continue reading...
Rope Braids to a Braid
Double whammy today .... first - the winner of the Monster Truck Jam has been announced ... so if you entered to win that ... head over HERE to see if you are the lucky ducky! And our quick & easy hairdo today is indeed a double whammy because I did it on both Goose & Bug for school recently. You'd think that they'd go to school with the same hair almost every day (just because it'd take less thought/effort and time on my part), but that actually isn't the case. But I first did this on ... continue reading...
Pile of Curls & Headband Redo
One of Goose's very good friends just got baptized on New Year's Day & she and her mom, one of my real good friends, (one that I've known clear back from my high school days and she is still my friend despite the awful hair I had back then!) asked me to do her hair for her baptism pictures, as well as for the day of her baptism. They are Curlformer lovers like we are and she wanted to sport THIS hairdo that I'd done for Goose back at the beginning of the year. Miss H. has shorter hair ... continue reading...
