I was recently featured on Time out for Women and this was the hairstyle and thoughts I submitted to them. If you aren't familiar with TOFW - they are a great resource that gives women a chance to gather together through its various programs and take a “time out” from the stresses and challenges of life. Whether you go to their classes or read their uplifting things online - they are inspirational and can help you become a better you. Also - in the wake of last week's tragic events in ... continue reading...

Puffy Braids to a Braid
This simple style is a cute little one that Bug's friend Maitlyn wore to church a while back. It's perfect for a day full of play at school as well as church. It was such a fun style & perfect for the length of Bug's hair. This really is a great style for any type of hair or for any age. If you've got a toddler this would be a great one to keep all those different lengths of hair in check. Step 1 - Make a center part Make a part from the center of the forehead clear back to the nape ... continue reading...
Bat Bows for Halloween
This is just a fun quick bow tutorial for Halloween. The idea came when I saw this fun little Halloween party invitation over here from Parents Magazine. I figured that cute little bat would make a perfect Halloween accessory for the girls! If your kids don't wear their Halloween costumes to school, why not add a bit of Halloween spirit with some cute accessories, right?! These took me all of 5 minutes to make & even if you don't have a head of hair to add them to, they look cute just ... continue reading...
Crazy Hair Day
Recently Goose was talking with her friends, who all happen to attend different schools and she told me one of them had just had crazy hair day this week. It made me realize I'd never posted their crazy hair from last school year. Our school always has it toward the end of the year - but being that Halloween is just around the corner and every school does it at different times, I thought I'd share with you are crazy hairstyles. I'm more of the thought that they should be called "ridiculous or ... continue reading...
Hair Wrapped Bubble Ponytail
This one is a fun and simple way to jazz up your ponytail. I'm assuming everyone's probably familiar with the "Jasmine Ponytail" or a bubble ponytail. Well we didn't "bubble" the ponytail as extreme as some we've seen some done. It was more to make a little poof and wrap the ponytail multiple times. Step 1 - Make a ponytail Step 2 - Wrap the rubber band For this first wrap, you can use any method you prefer to cover the rubber band with hair. But for the rest of the sections, I don't ... continue reading...
Ponytails and Braids
This fun and easy style is courtesy of my sister and her cute little girl Miss L. She sent me a few pictures a couple months back on my cell and I finally got around to recreating it. This would be an awesome style for swimming or camping, because it keeps all the hair back & contained. And the waves created after you pull the style out are fabulous as well! Step 1 - Part the hair & make a ponytail Make a part right down the middle of the head - but not too far back. Then section ... continue reading...
